With just a few months to go before Google’s I/O event, where the company traditionally showcases its upcoming devices, render images of the Pixel 9 Pro have been leaked. These renders, created in collaboration between OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, provide an early glimpse into the design changes and features of the upcoming flagship device.

One significant change is the shift to a flat screen in the Pixel 9 Pro. The device is expected to downsize from the 6.7-inch screen of the Pixel 8 Pro to a 6.5-inch display. This size change is likely a response to user feedback regarding the size and weight of the Pixel 8 Pro.

The render images also showcase a design with thinner bezels and a horizontally positioned rear camera setup. The camera system includes larger sensors, and although specific details about the cameras are not provided, three units are visible with the largest in the center, accompanied by a periscope camera.

According to the images, the new flagship’s dimensions are reported to be 162.7 x 76.6 x 8.5 mm, with the camera bump adding an extra 3.5 mm, bringing the total thickness to 12.0 mm.

Details about internal features are not included in the renders. Previous rumors suggested that both the Pixel 9 and the Pro model would be equipped with the Tensor G4 chipset, expected to be a modest upgrade over its predecessor, the Tensor G3, with production likely carried out by Samsung.

It’s important to remember that these images are based on leaks and early information, and the final design may see adjustments before the official launch. As the launch date approaches, more details about the Pixel 9 and Pro are expected to emerge.
